NANASP 2016 Annual Training Conference
On behalf of the National Association of Nutrition and Aging Services Programs (NANASP) we're looking forward to seeing you all the 2016 Annual Training Conference at The Mirage in Las Vegas next week.
The NANASP Registration Desk will open on Wednesday June 1, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. We will be located outside the Montego Room.
If you have pre-registered for the Zappos Tour, you have been sent a confirmation email about your schedule. If you are on the 8:15 am tour, it is not necessary to register for the conference prior to the tour if you just want to meet in the lobby at the scheduled time. Just be sure to bring ID with you.
Schedule of Events/Session Materials
The conference will officially kick off with the Opening General Session at 2:30 p.m. in the ANTIGUA Ballroom in the Caribbean Court Meeting area.
Don't miss the Opening Reception on Wednesday night from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. in the exhibit hall in the Montego Room.

Please check your email confirmation for a link to the session materials will be made available online. Handouts (unless provided by the speakers) will not be available on site, so be sure to download/print any materials for sessions you are planning to attend prior to departing for the conference.

NANASP Conferences would not be possible if not for our generous sponsors and exhibitors! Although the reception will be held in the Exhibit Hall on Wednesday night, exhibitors won't officially have stamps for passports until Thursday morning for breakfast sponsored by GA Foods in addition to the mid morning break and of course, lunch sponsored by Valley Services. Be sure to stop by each vendor and learn more about the goods and services they provide. We'll be raffling off some great prizes including Microsoft Surfaces, GPS, Gift Cards and more!!

Are you a new NANASP member or is this your first time to a NANASP event? Then we invite you to join us for meeting and greet on Thursday June 2 from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. to meet our board of directors and better understand our organization's mission and vision and ways we can work together on a national and local level.
Dress Code/What Should You Wear? Business casual dress is encouraged. The 10-Day Forecast for Las Vegas is calling for daytime highs in the upper 90’s and evening lows in the mid-upper 70's – nothing but sunny skies. So dress cool and comfortable and be sure to drink lots of water!! But don’t forget a light sweater or jacket for inside the hotel meeting rooms, temperatures often fluctuate!
Airport Transportation – The McCarran International Airport is located ~4.3 miles or ~12 minute ride from the host hotel. Several companies offer shuttle service to and from McCarran International Airport (approximately $7.00 per person). Signs are posted on the transportation level at the airport outside baggage claim which will direct you to the shuttle area. Return shuttles run from the airport to The Mirage from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. every 10-15 minutes. Reservations are recommended for airport returns. The Concierge can assist you with a reservation upon request. Other transportation options include taxis, limousine service, the City Bus, and the various connecting trams and walkways between Strip resorts.
